Once the last segment of the Marin-Sonoma Narrows widening project opens sometime late this summer, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes will operate from 5—10 a.m. and 3—7 p.m. in both directions Monday—Friday. Starting next week, northbound traffic through the Narrows area will be shifted to the newly built lanes so that work on the median can be finished. Current hours in Sonoma County are 7—9 a.m. and 3—6:30 p.m. in both directions.
