MLV Minnesota Signs Setter Emery Herman – Major League Volleyball

SAINT PAUL, Minn. —  MLV Minnesota General Manager and Head Coach  Pedro Mendes  today announced the  signing of   setter  Emery Herman   for the 2027 season.   Herman most recently helped lead  Esquimo  Dos Hermanas to the 2026 Iberdrola League and Copa de la Reina titles, marking the first championships in club history. Herman was named Best Setter of the tournament.   “ Emery is a young, talented player, but she already has a calm presence that really stands out ,” said Mendes.   “ That’s a critical quality for a setter, especially when making decisions under pressure. I love the way she runs her offense. She plays with  confidence, creativity, and personality ;  those are qualities you  can’t  coach.  I believe she’ll  elevate everyone in our gym and have a tremendous impact on our team. ”   Prior to her professional career, Herman was a standout setter for the University of Arizona (2020-22)  before transferring to  Colorado State University (2023-24).
