D-Black Rapper and entrepreneur D-Black says his children are more like friends to him, and they prefer chatting with him on Snapchat instead of WhatsApp. Speaking on 4Kidz Paradise on Joy Prime on Sunday, the musician opened up about how parenting has changed in the digital age. “My kids are like my friends. It’s interesting how you guys are so different from us in our generation. I talk to them every day and none of them even messages me on WhatsApp. They’re on my Snapchat, they talk to me on Snapchat,” he said. D-Black admitted he was surprised by how quickly they respond on the social media app compared to traditional messaging platforms. “It was very surprising to realise that when I text them on WhatsApp, they would reply the next day, but when I text them on Snapchat, they would reply instantly,” he stated.
