Vitalli Mykolenko’s Ukraine and Jordan Pickford’s England were forced to settle for a point as the two nations drew 1-1 on Saturday evening. Both Everton stars started for their respected nations at the Stadion Wrocław in Poland as England came from behind to achieve a point on the road. Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko gave the hosts the lead on 26 minutes with a first-time finish into the bottom right corner past Pickford.  Gareth Southgate’s side responded on 41 minutes when Kyle Walker was played in over the top along the right by Harry Kane, smashing the ball in at the near post to put the Three Lions level.  While England dominated in possession and chances on goal, they were unable to slot away a second as their 100-per-cent record in European Championship qualifying came to an end.  Everton’s Ukrainian produced a memorable performance. The 24-year-old completed a 90 minute display, registered two successful tackles (100-per-cent success from attempted challenges), five clearances and one interception.
