Nepal PM’s official Twitter account hackedKathmandu: TheTwitter handle of Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal was hacked in the early hours of Thursday. In his Twitter account, instead of Dahal’s profile, the BLUR account, which is a Non-Fungible Token Marketplace for Pro Traders is seen.The bio of the official handle @PM_Nepal read, “The NFT marketplace for pro traders. Backed by @Paradigm . Season 2 now LIVE. Discord: http://discord.gg/blurdao Foundation: http://blur.foundation.” The bio was same as the Twitter account of Blur’s official account on the micro-blogging platform. The verified account of Blur, which has 241k followers, also had the display picture that briefly replaced Nepal PM’s photo. On the Twitter account, @PM_Nepal pinned a tweet regarding the NFT which read, “The Summoning has been started. Get your BAKC/SewerPass ready and get down in the pit! https://thesummoning.party.” The account, which has 690.1K followers, was restored soon after and the bio was changed to “Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Government of Nepal.” There was no official tweet or statement on the recent hacking incident from the Prime Minister’s office.Notably, it was reported on Wednesday that the Nepal PM will hold a vote of confidence in Parliament on March 20
