No. 4 Hawkeyes Bounce Bowling Green – University of Iowa Athletics

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The fourth-ranked Iowa women’s basketball team came away with a 99-65, win against the Bowling Green Falcons on Saturday afternoon inside a sold-out Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa improved to 8-1 on the season. Five Hawkeyes recorded double digit figures. All-American Caitlin Clark registered a game-high 24 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and two blocks. Sydney Affolter went a career-high 7-of-7 from the field with 14 points, and Sharon Goodman double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Kate Martin recorded 17 points and three blocks, and Addi O’Grady stated ten points in less than 12 minutes of play. Iowa came out on top from the start closing out the first with a, 29-16 lead shooting 66.7% from the field and from behind the arc. The Hawkeyes rallied through the second going into halftime with a commanding lead. It was more of the same for the Hawkeyes in the second half.
