Schools in Nuneaton have sent a warning to parents and guardians over a sick Snapchat game. They have sent messages out in regards to ‘The Game’, which is believed to be circulating across the town. It contains disturbing challenges about self harm and CoventryLive has seen the message about ‘The Game’ and, due to its graphic and upsetting nature, has chosen not to publish it in full. Due to the seriousness of the message, following advice from Warwickshire County Council, schools are urging parents and guardians to monitor all of their children’s social media platforms. One of the warnings from Croft Junior School reads: ” Dear parents/carers. We have been informed by the local authority that there is highly inappropriate content being circulated via social media called ‘The Game’. Please be vigilant and safeguard all children from this disturbing material and monitor all online game/social media platforms.
