One deceased in Barron after shots fired, video of homicide posted to Snapchat – WKBT

CITY OF BARRON, Wis. (WKBT) — Authorities responded to a report of shots fired at a residence at 650 Candy Lane on Wednesday, according to a release. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male and wounded female. After securing the residence, officers located the suspect with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Life saving measures were performed on all individuals. The female victim was taken to a local hospital and her condition is unknown. The suspect was also taken to a medical facility, and his condition is also unknown. Officials are also aware of a video posted to Snapchat showing the homicide and are working with the company to remove it.
