According to an Odessa Police Department report, the girl told authorities in mid-July she’d met an unknown man on Snapchat weeks prior and one night he used the app to figure out where she lived and showed up outside. The girl said the man sent her pictures of himself with a firearm and told her if she didn’t leave with him he’d hurt her family, the report stated. The girl told authorities she went with the man and he coerced her into an act that was redacted in the police report. Investigators used Snapchat account information and an IP address to identify the suspect as Albaro Gonzalez Porras Jr., the report stated. They also obtained videos and photos consistent with the girl’s account of the incident.
