Overnight incidents 8/9 June 2025 – South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue

Rossington firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 7:05pm on West End Lane, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:25pm. Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate fire involving a motorbike at 8:15pm on Richmond Park Rise, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:45pm. Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire at 8:40pm on Aldham House Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 9pm. Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate car fire at 8:55pm on Taylors Lane, Parkgate, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:20pm. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate fire involving a motorbike at 10:05pm on Main Street, Old Cantley, Doncaster. The crew came away at 10:40pm. Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a fence at 10:50pm on Wath Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 11:05pm. A car was deliberately set on fire at 1am on Aldham House Lane, Wombwell, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 1:35am.
