Path Of Exile 2 Free Weekend Launches With The Third Edict Update – MMOBomb

Grinding Gear Games is celebrating the launch of Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict with a special Free Weekend campaign running from August 29 through September 1 at 1 PM (PDT). This is the first time players across all platforms — PC, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store — can dive into the free-to-play ARPG without needing a $30 Early Access key. Alongside this event, players can earn exclusive rewards both in-game and through community engagement on Twitch and Discord. During the Free Weekend, players can unlock unique cosmetics by completing early quests, including the Exile’s Hood, Exile’s Staff, and Exile’s Cloak. Additional rewards are available through Twitch Drops, such as the Clam Stash Skin, Abyssal Helmet, Abyssal Cape, and the Storm of Valako Portal effect. A special Chaos Orb Twitch chat badge will also be available for subscribers, while actual players can unlock the Eye of Prophecy Discord Avatar by just playing 15 minutes during the first week.
