A hearing in Paris’ police court took place on Thursday following a complaint from the Mousse and Stop Homophobia associations because of a “public insult of a group of people for their sexual orientation”. The judge presiding over the hearing downgraded the charge to “private insult” because the video was not intended to be leaked. Evra did not attend the hearing. A decision on whether to find the former Manchester United left back guilty will be made on February 9.
