Pokemon X / Twitter account has been hacked – Nintendo Everything

We wanted to give folks a quick heads up that Pokemon has been hacked on X, also known by some still as Twitter. A suspicious message was just posted on the official account a few minutes ago. At first glance, it may seem safe… until you look at it for just a few seconds. The post makes mention of a Pokemon memecoin. A contact address is included as well. Even though the message links to the 30th anniversary for Pokemon, this is most definitely not something that would end up on any official accounts. For those wondering, here’s a look at the message: You can also find the message for yourself here. We’d just advise against doing anything with the memecoin shared in the post. As of now this is the only post that has been made since the hack took place. The Pokemon Company will also now look to regain its account, and hopefully it’ll be able to do so soon. The timing isn’t great as the 2026 Pokemon World Championships are set to begin tomorrow. We’ll keep you about any further developments that emerge.
