Local News Police said they found a man dead inside of the house WARREN, Mich. – A suspect has been taken into custody after an hours-long standoff with police in Warren on Friday. The suspect was live-streaming on Facebook in the lead-up to the surrender. Just after 5 a.m. on Dec. 12, 2025, Warren police received a call from a person who knew the suspect, claiming the suspect was inside a home in the 7000 block of Westminster Avenue and had killed a person. The caller said the suspect told them on a FaceTime call, where the caller saw a man lying on the ground covered in blood. Minutes later, the police arrive to find a man dead inside the house. The suspect was moving inside the home and refused to come to the door. For several hours, police negotiated with the suspect. The suspect livestreamed the encounter on Facebook. In the stream, the person repeatedly claims to have killed the man and shows a bloody knife.
