HALFMOON, N.Y. (WNYT) — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said a Halfmoon woman assaulted a person using a metal bar and power drill. Investigators said deputies responded at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 30 on Fellows Road in Halfmoon. Jennifer E. Garland, 36, is accused of intentionally causing physical injury by striking another person. Deputies said the person had pain and cuts to the shoulder, calf and shin. Garland also allegedly violated an order of protection. Garland is charged with assault in the second degree, aggravated criminal contempt, criminal contempt and criminal possession of a weapon.
