In that time, 538,205 infections have been confirmed in Quebec. In reaction to soaring cases, Quebec put new COVID-19 measures into effect on Sunday that limit private gatherings to six people or two family bubbles . Quebecers are also being encouraged to use rapid tests at home instead of swamping test sites ; the results of those tests aren’t included in daily case statistics.
