(Micah Rice/The Columbian) Highlights — The Raptors’ first game against the first-year club from Salem got off to a good start for Ridgefield (9-4), which jumped out to a 4-1 lead after three innings. At the plate — Isaiah Hearn (Oregon) hit a two-run home run in the second inning, putting the Raptors up 3-1. Ken Tomitaka (Santa Ana College) went 3 for 5 with two runs and an RBI. On the mound — Jordan Haver (Fresno State) allowed one run on three hits over five innings, striking out five to earn the win. Skyview High graduate Brendan Bowyer pitched one inning for the Berries.
