In addition to the 10 collisions on Ring Road, police responded to several other incidents where they just happened to be in the area and noticed a vehicle in the ditch, the release said. Police urged motorists to avoid using Ring Road, if at all possible, describing it as “extremely icy” and “very dangerous,” in an earlier news release.
