Remembering damage from Katrina at Battleship Park – Fox 10

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park posted on its Facebook page information and pictures of damage caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The anniversary was Saturday. Here is the post: 21 years ago, Hurricane Katrina left a lasting impact on the Gulf Coast, including USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. This powerful storm brought strong winds, flooding, and damage to the beautiful grounds we know and love. In the years since, our park staff, volunteers, and community have made valiant efforts to restore, rebuild, and preserve this special place.
