Capcom has a showcase event today, with a heavy focus on Resident Evil 4, but an ad on Twitch reveals that it will have a special bonus. If you’re willing to stay up late tonight there’s a Capcom Spotlight event due, that will spill the beans on a number of upcoming titles, including the remake of Resident Evil 4. Most people have probably been sold on the remake already but on Twitch an ad for the event was accidentally run too early, and reveals that a free demo is planned as part of the showcase. The ad implies that the demo will be on both Xbox and PlayStation, and is probably the section of the game we played last year – which was originally created for the Tokyo Game Show. Whatever the demo is exactly, the ad implies that it will be released as soon as the showcase is over, since it says it’s ‘available now’ – with no mention of having to wait till a specific time to download it.
