Minister Ronald A. Allgood January 13, 1959-November 23, 2021 Minister Ronald A. Allgood, 62, of Rock Island, IL was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, IL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10 am at Progressive Baptist Church, Davenport, IA, and can be viewed via livestream at https://vimeo.com/650863187. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family or Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ron was born on January 13, 1959 in Akron, OH, the son of Kenneth and Peggy (Roberts) Allgood. He attended Butchel High School where he loved to play basketball and run track. After high school, he attended Kent State University after which he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served for seven years. Ron worked for many years as a car salesman where he enjoyed meeting new people every day.
