RICHMOND, Va. – Stony Brook men’s soccer sophomore Ryan Farr was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. The honor marks the first CAA Offensive Player of the Week recognition of Farr’s career. Farr powered the Seawolves to a 2-0 week, totaling six points on two goals and two assists while playing a role in four of Stony Brook’s five goals. The sophomore opened the week by delivering the game-winning goal in Stony Brook’s 2-1 victory over Monmouth on Monday. Farr’s strike helped propel the Seawolves to the conference win. He followed that performance with a four-point outing in Stony Brook’s 3-0 shutout victory over Hofstra. Farr contributed to all three goals in the win, finding the back of the net once while adding two assists.
