Sally* was house-sitting for a family friend when she posted a fun video on social media as she played with the dogs.  Minutes later, she was fleeing the property after a mysterious figure was spotted lurking in the background of the footage. The spine-tingling story was retold by Emma Klipstein, the US host of Too Much Podcast and a friend of Sally’s, prompting a heated discussion about what the creepy figure was. ‘This is one of the scariest stories I’ve ever been told. My very good friend told me this story in real time when it happened,’ Emma explained. It all started when the Robinsons* asked Sally if she could look after their dogs for two nights while they went away for the weekend in the middle of one October. The owners were happy for Sally to bring a friend along so she wouldn’t be alone – but after asking around, including her bestie Carla*, she ended up staying at the house by herself because no one was free to join her. It wasn’t the first time she’d house-sat for the Robinson family – it felt like any other weekend: feeding and playing with the two dogs until they returned from holiday.
