Getty Images SHARON, Pa. – A Sharon woman who pled guilty earlier in June to a Facebook charity scam has learned her fate. Mercer County District Attorney Peter Acker tells 21 News has been sentenced to five years of probation on Monday, June 23 and must pay restitution. According to court records, 60-year-old Kelly Anderson-Clark pled guilty to one third degree felony count of theft in connection with a Facebook scam she was running. She was originally charged with two more felony theft counts, but court records show those were dropped following her guilty plea.  In Pennsylvania, a third-degree felony theft charge is filed when the value of the property stolen is between $2,000 and $100,000.  Police said Anderson-Clark had been running a Facebook group called “Any Port in the Storm,” which was designed to collect money for people in need. According to a criminal complaint, Anderson-Clark would make posts in the group telling stories of people such as “Butchie” and “Mary” who were in need of donations.
