Sheamus Makes Major Changes to His Twitter After Turning Down WWE Deal

Sheamus Twitter changes are saying plenty right now, even without The Celtic Warrior posting some long goodbye message about WWE. Sheamus is no longer using “Sheamus” as his Twitter name. Instead, his account now shows S. Farrelly, a clear move back toward his real name. He also removed WWE from his bio and replaced it with a simple description: “Pro Wrestler.” That’s short, but it lands loud. Sheamus spent nearly 19 years under the WWE banner, so changing his Twitter name and wiping WWE from his profile is not exactly a small update. The move comes as Sheamus’ WWE deal is set to expire and he turned down a contract extension. WWE tried to get him on a restructured deal while he was out with an injury, but Sheamus passed on it. This was not framed as WWE releasing him either. Sheamus wasn’t cut.
