April 10, 2022 15:14 Follow @PortlandPolice On Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 10:15 a.m., officers from the Central Precinct were dispatched to a report of a shooting near Southwest Clay Street and Southwest 12th Avenue. When officers arrived they located an adult female who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers attempted life saving measures at the scene but the victim later died at an area hospital. Another female victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, a person has been taken into custody as part of the investigation. The Portland Police Homicide Unit has responded to investigate. During the investigation, Southwest Clay Street is closed between Southwest 12th Avenue and Southwest 13th Avenue. The PIO is not responding to the scene.
