by News Staff Tue, June 9, 2026 at 3:27 PM Christopher Webb (Photo via Linn County Sheriff’s Office) ALBANY, Ore. — Linn County deputies arrested a Wilsonville man in late May after a sex abuse investigation, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. Deputies arrested Christopher Jay Webb, 34, on May 28, 2026, after an eight-month long investigation, the sheriff’s office said. According to authorities, Webb used the Snapchat app to contact a 17-year-old girl from Sweet Home who was unknown to him. Knowing her age, he sent multiple images and videos of sexually explicit content of himself to the girl, the sheriff’s office said. He also solicited similar content from her. During the investigation, investigators determined Webb used Snapchat to communicate with other juveniles for similar purposes. In conversations with the juveniles, Webb indicated that he worked at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility. After executing search warrants for digital evidence and analyzing accounts and digital media, Webb was arrested and lodged at the Linn County Jail on one count of luring a minor.
