Snapchat is closing in on 1bn monthly active users milestone – Music Ally

Snap’s latest financial results reveal the latest growth for its Snapchat app. It had 946 million monthly active users in Q4 2025, up 6% year-on-year – so 51 million more users. That means Snapchat is closing in on the milestone of 1bn monthly active users. Or is it? There were some less positive figures revealed in the financial results when it comes to daily active users. Snapchat averaged 474 million of those last quarter, which was up 5% year-on-year. However, it was actually a small dip from Q3, when it had 477 million, including declines in North America and Europe. That’s a trend to keep an eye on. But more positive metrics include Snap’s revenues ($1.72bn in Q4, up 10% year-on-year), while the company narrowed its net losses from $697.9m in 2024 as a whole to $460.5m in 2025. Snap’s investor letter has more, invariably-positive stats on how people are interacting with Snapchat. More than 700 million people have engaged with its GenAI-powered lenses over 17bn times, for example, while the number of people playing games in Snapchat every month has nearly doubled to 200 million.
