March 10, 2026, 9:52 a.m. ET A Rhode Island man was arrested this week and faces child enticement charges following an investigation by the Somerset Police Department. Michael Gallo, of 33 Canonchet Trail, Cranston, Rhode Island, was arrested Sunday, March 8, by Somerset police and was ordered held on $25,000 bail at his arraignment in Fall River District Court on Monday. The 33-year-old is charged with distributing obscene matter to a minor, two counts of enticement of a child under 16, and accosting/annoying another person, a Somerset Police post states. Somerset Police Department said they received a report in late January 2026 that Gallo had been sending lewd images, videos, and messages to a juvenile through the social media application Snapchat. During their communications, Gallo told the juvenile that he was 22 years old. The juvenile provided their correct age to Gallo, making him aware that the individual he was communicating with was under the age of 14, police said. On Sunday, March 8, Gallo arrived at a predetermined location in Somerset believing he was meeting the juvenile, and was taken into custody by Somerset Police detectives.
