The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs says the Drop-In Center Recovery Collective will receive up to $29,000. Officials say the collective includes Oasis Community Recovery Club of Shamokin, Walking Free Clubhouse near Middleburg, and New Possibilities Recovery Drop-In Center in Bloomsburg. The funding will support outreach, education, and efforts to promote compassionate, judgment-free care. State officials say the grants are part of the Life Unites Us campaign, which uses community partnerships to encourage treatment and recovery.
