Sycamores continue road trip with Tuesday night contest at No. 15 Tennessee

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State continues the eight-game road trip on Tuesday night as the Sycamores travel to No. 15 Tennessee in nonconference play at Lindsey Nelson Stadium with first pitch set for 6 p.m. The game will be played on SEC Network+ and 105.5 The Legend.   Indiana State (22-25) enters the midweek contest sitting with a 12-12 record overall in road competition and 15-17 mark away from Bob Warn Field on the year. The Sycamores are 1-3 over the current eight-game road trip after falling last Tuesday to Vanderbilt (5-2), while dropping two of three this past weekend to Bradley in Marion, Ill.   Tennessee (37-11) enters the midweek matchup with a 26-7 record inside Lindsey Nelson Stadium after a 1-2 weekend at home against No. 5 Auburn. The Volunteers will have one more game against a Missouri Valley foe this season taking on Belmont on May 13.   Season Overall Carlos Pena (.344) leads six Sycamores hitting above the .300 mark on the season heading into the final seven games of the regular season.
