Teacher pleads no contest to sexual assault of teen boy she allegedly knew from church

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (WKRC) – Reagan Danielle Gray, a former teacher and church volunteer, has pleaded no contest to charges of second-degree sexual assault involving a 15-year-old boy at Immanuel Baptist Church. The plea, entered on Monday, is treated as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes, KARK and ABC7 reported. The allegations against Gray surfaced last year, with reports indicating that the abuse began in 2020 and continued into the summer of 2021, KARK reported. PEOPLE reported that Gray was accused of sending nude photos on a “daily basis” to the teenager and engaging in a sexual relationship with him. An affidavit revealed that Gray was warned to cease contact with the boy after his parents discovered text messages between them. Despite this, communication reportedly continued via Snapchat and the abuse allegedly occurred in Gray’s car or apartment. Gray was placed on administrative leave from her position at Sylvan Hills Middle School in February 2024, according to an affidavit PEOPLE reported.
