Teacher Sent Explicit Videos and Pics to 16-Year-Old Student Over Snapchat: Police

A Missouri high school teacher was arrested after she allegedly sent an underage student naked pictures, solicited pictures from the minor and kissed him.Rikki Lynn Laughlin, of St. James, Missouri, was charged with six felonies for the alleged incidents involving a 16-year-old boy, according to the Riverfront Times. Local reports said Laughlin was both 25 and 24, her exact age was not immediately clear.The Riverfront Times said that Laughlin was busted after a school employee tipped off authorities about a possible inappropriate relationship between her and a student at St. James High School. Police visited the home of the 16-year-old on Oct. 20, and the boy claimed to have kissed Laughlin, according to KSDK. He also said she invited him to come over and have sex while her husband was away. A Maries County Sheriff’s Office detective’s report viewed by the Riverfront Times said that the student declined the invitation and “made excuses for not meeting with Laughlin because he did not feel comfortable.”Laughlin also allegedly sent the boy a video of herself using a sex toy and solicited pictures from him via Snapchat.
