COLUMBUS, Mo. (WKRC) – A teenager was arrested and banned from his own college campus after he allegedly attacked multiple students, including strangling a girl twice for blocking him on Snapchat. A student accused 18-year-old Maxwell Warren of breaking into their room on September 26 after she blocked him on Snapchat, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Law&Crime. Warren allegedly forced the student’s door open and strangled her after learning that she blocked him on the messaging app. The student unblocked Warren after the incident, and two days later he allegedly texted her on Instagram. “I feel awful U deserve so much better,” he reportedly wrote. Another two days passed before the victim confronted Warren over Snapchat, saying, “[Y]ou put your hands on me.” “I would do it again,” Warren allegedly replied. “I f—ing hate you, I would gladly beat your a–.” Another violent incident allegedly occurred on October 29 when Warren went to the victim’s room while “possibly under the influence of a narcotic.” The victim told police Warren attempted to make sexual advances on her, but she refused and said she “just wanted to sleep.” Warren became frustrated and strangled the woman again, per the affidavit.
