Tennis at Twilight Set for November 8 at Chateau Golf and Country Club

NEW ORLEANS – The seventh Tennis at Twilight Gala is two weeks away on November 8 at Chateau Golf and Country Club. The event will begin at 8 p.m. and will feature live music, a gourmet buffet, an open bar and a silent auction with a chance to win great items.   All proceeds will go toward funding for essentials for the Privateers men’s and women’s tennis programs. The event will be emceed by WDSU’s Fletcher Mackel.   Prizes that are up for auction include the following: -Trip to the US Open valued at $7,500 -New Orleans yacht experience -Dinner for 10 at Katie’s in Mid City -Tennis racket signed by Rafael Nadal -Tennis membership initiation fee and three months of dues -Pickleball party courtesy of City Park   The dress code for the event is formal- coat and tie or cocktail attire.   BLUES ON TUES.
