Thursday BP: Giants kick KNBR out of clubhouse studio – Yahoo Sports

Good morning, baseball fans! Earlier this week, it was reported by Alex Simon of SFGate that the San Francisco Giants had revoked access to the in-house studio (affectionately referred to as the “Bunker”) that had been used by KNBR since the park opened. Advertisement For those who aren’t familiar with the inner workings of the ballpark, there is a dedicated studio for KNBR where they were able to do recordings and store equipment. Here, enjoy this blurry collage of pictures I have from the last time I did a clubhouse tour for reference: The top left portion is the Bunker, below that is part of the training room, and on the right is the kitchen/dining area. While these areas are not directly part of the clubhouse, they are near enough to be included on the tour of the clubhouse that is available to the public. This allowed for hosts to record right on site, and store equipment for broadcasts held outside of the park. This news was announced by KNBR host Adam Copeland during his show last Wednesday, per Simon’s reporting, in which he said he was informed during a game that he could no longer record from the Bunker.
