Tickets Now on Sale for 2026 Alex M. Rivera Athletics Hall of Fame Induction

DURHAM, N.C. — Tickets are now on sale for the induction of the 2026 class of the NCCU Alex M. Rivera Athletics Hall of Fame, the North Carolina Central University Department of Athletics has announced.  This year’s class recognizes one team and seven individuals for their contributions and excellence: The 2016 MEAC champion football team that played in the Celebration Bowl Football coach Rod Broadway Men’s tennis standout Gabriel Cucalon Volleyball star Ariel Germain Football player Adrian Jones Football player Mike Jones Football player Christopher McKinstry Track & field standout Bethany White  The induction ceremony will take place on the weekend of the Eagles’ home football game against Elizabeth City State, on Sept. 4, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. To purchase tickets to this year’s event, please use this link: https://bit.ly/4oYIf4b   The Alex M.
