A man posted a series of worrying messages on Snapchat moments before ending his life by taking a cocktail of drugs he bought online. George Alfie Mullins knew he needed help with his addiction to illegal drugs but despite visiting his GP on several occasions, he refused to engage with services as he was reluctant to stop. George, who was born in Blackpool, was supported by his mum Kerry but his agoraphobia and anxiety meant he struggled to seek help. Since he had started to buy drugs over the internet – including Valium, lorazepam, heroin, ketamine, dihydrocodeine, cocaine, cannabis, tramadol, oxycodone and gabapentin – the 23 year-old had become increasingly withdrawn and would spend much of his time locked away in his bedroom.
