While down from No. 5 last year, the role’s strong showing is notable in a year dominated by AI-focused jobs—AI engineers and consultants ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. The annual report is based on millions of jobs started between 01JAN and 31JUL, 2025, and evaluates roles that show consistent growth, sufficient job postings, and expansion to a meaningful size. Travel advisor did not appear on LinkedIn’s list of Canada’s fastest-growing careers, which was limited to the top 15 professions. LinkedIn’s US data offers insight into who is entering the profession.
