‘Tremendous collaboration’: Idaho agencies work together on Jump Creek rope rescue

Two hikers and a dog all left the area uninjured, thanks to the teamwork from Owyhee County first responders. MARSING, Idaho — Volunteers were able to work alongside first responders to rescue two hikers and a dog from Jump Creek. In a post on Facebook, Marsing Ambulance said that they worked alongside the Marsing Rural Fire Department and the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office to locate and rescue two hikers and their dog.  Crews performed a rope rescue, ensuring the safety of all involved.
