Kick has been attempting to challenge Twitch’s dominance in the livestreaming space by offering more streamer-friendly deals to top creators. Streamers like xQc, Adin Ross, and BruceDropEmOff have already made the switch to Kick. However, Kai Cenat, who was embroiled in contract issues with Twitch, did not join Kick as anticipated. Although he previously denied receiving a $40 million offer from Kick and criticized Adin Ross for spreading false information, he has now alluded to it once again. During the AMP 2023 Freshman Cypher event, Kai took shots at various topics, including “streaming s*it” and the alleged Kick offer. He rapped, “I do my own thing and I put that on a cross.
