Twitch streamer Hasan Piker asks Democratic leaders to defend him from Republicans

He urged Democrats to consider him as one of their own despite different views in certain issues. During a livestream on Wednesday, he declared himself part of the Democratic coalition. He criticized Republicans for using him to distract the voters instead of having a conversation on real issues such as the “cost-of-living crisis.” “Democrats, listen to me, I know we don’t always see eye to eye on a lot of stuff, but you have to literally, at some point — I know you don’t want to do this — defend me.
