No one expected this game to be close, including the oddsmakers who had Florida State as -21.5 point favorites this afternoon against Pitt. To Pitt’s credit, they competed especially in the first first as they were arguably the better team. In the end, Pitt’s offense couldn’t generate consist offense or score points and the No. 4 team in the country’s talent prevailed. Christian Veilleux has arm talent. This offensive scheme is in no way conducive to a player like him being successful. It is a “pro style” offense from 10 years ago.
