A new update to the iOS Twitter app is bringing a new level of integration with other social media platforms in allowing tweets to be shared directly to Instagram Stories. Previously the only way of sharing the wit and wisdom of the 280 characters in a tweet was to screenshot and share it as a photo. To access the new functionality, a user just needs to tap the share icon on a tweet and select ‘Instagram Stories’. The tweet sticker can then be resized and repositioned before posting. The update comes on the same day the social media giant announced it’s seeking applications from users who want to be the first to test new content subscription and ticketing features announced earlier this year. Unfortunately for keen Kiwis, initial access to Super Follows and Ticketed Spaces is currently limited to users in the US, with no indication of when they’ll be available here. Ticketed Spaces allows creators to charge access to a “unique and exclusive” Clubroom-like audio chat room, where prices can range from US$1 to US$999.
