Two tropical areas of interest Eastern and Central Atlantic A tropical wave is expected to move off the western coast of the African continent between the Guinea and Senegal region by Tuesday. Some development of the potential system is becoming more likely during the upcoming week while it moves westward across the Eastern and Central Tropical Atlantic. This tropical area of interest has the best chance of development. The next name on the list this season is Cristobal. The tropical wave currently southwest of Cabo Verde is slowly moving westward.
