Published 9:03 am Monday, September 22, 2025 Update (9:25 p.m.):  Law enforcement will have an increased presence at Albert Lea High School on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution to provide additional security and reassurance for staff, students and families.  Albert Lea Area Schools Superintendent Steven Heil, Albert Lea High School Principal Sean Gaston and Albert Lea High School Assistance Principal Amy Stiehl said in a post on the district’s Facebook page that law enforcement have been interviewing students connected to Snapchat posts that have been circulating among students and other platforms Monday evening.  Email newsletter signup “At this time, they have advised that school should proceed as normal tomorrow,” the statement said.
