UPDATE: One person dead, two others hurt after shooting in Barron – WEAU

BARRON COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – More information is now known about the scene in Barron County Wednesday afternoon. According to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, officers located a deceased male and a wounded female at the residence. They also located the suspect with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The female victim was transported to Barron Mayo Hospital and her is condition is unknown. The suspect was also transported to a medical facility and their condition is unknown. They are also aware of the Snapchat video and are working with Snapchat to remove the video. There is no threat to the public. Their thoughts are with the families and everyone involved with this incident. A law enforcement presence is visible near 650 Candy Lane in Barron County.
