Virgin Atlantic Becomes First Airline With a ChatGPT App – Business Traveller

Virgin Atlantic is launching an all-new app within ChatGPT, allowing customers to search for flights using plain language instead of navigating the usual grid of dates, airports, cabin filters, and fare rules. With this ground-breaking technology, the airline’s passengers can engage in a conversation through the app to get results that could otherwise be more work intensive. For instance, the airline says passengers can can inquire, “What are the flights to Miami in December?” or request a list of all the premium options available for travel between any two destinations in its network. In parallel, the carrier is launching a catering refresh with its new Spring/Summer 2026 food and beverage program, which will debut across its aircraft and U.S. Clubhouses starting May 6.
