YOUNGSTERS in Moyross have been shown the dangers of what can happen when scrambler bikes are in accidents. The Garda Youth Diversion Project, the HSE, the Moyross Youth Academy and Corpus Christi School have teamed up to provide a stark recreation to kids of the dangers of driving around scrambler bikes on fields. Project Off Road will see the vehicles brought into a controlled environment in Moyross. On Wednesday of this week, members of An Garda Siochana were present in Corpus Christi to stage a dramatic re-enactment of what could happen if an accident did happen. Sixth class students were shown a clash involving a car and a scrambler motorcycle, with gardai and ambulance staff demonstrating in the school yard, and treating it as they would a real life collision. It was followed by a discussion on road safety between the students, advanced paramedic Keith Mullane and Sgt Tony Miniter  of the Limerick Roads Policing Unit.
