Rt. 641 closure scheduled March 16–20 to complete bridge construction CULPEPER — The Virginia Department of Transportation will temporarily close Route 641 (Weaver Hollow Road) at the bridge over Leathers Run in Madison County from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 to allow crews to complete bridge construction work. During this time, Route 641 will be closed to through traffic in the work area. Motorists should plan to use alternate routes to travel around the closure. All work is weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution near the work zone, and follow posted signs when traveling through the area. Local updates about conditions in VDOT’s Culpeper District are posted to X.com/VaDOTCulp and the Culpeper District Facebook group page. Current traffic conditions, VDOT’s statewide network of traffic cameras and other travel information is on the 511Virginia website. That information is also available on the free VDOT 511 mobile app or by calling 511 from any phone in Virginia.
